Thanks to the team at UKPN for assisting in evaluating and accepting for connection to the UKPN network CityEV Cityline Safevolt® equipped units; this represents a significant step forward in simplifying installations and associated cost reductions and efficiency. All CityEV public charge points, single phase and three phase units are supplied as standard with an integral Safevolt® unit, eliminating the need to install an earth mat and associated civil works. Cityline units are on-site installer selectable for this feature and may be alternatively used with a T/T earth where preferred. As per industry practice installers are reminded to comply with relevant regulations including BS7671 and are welcome to consult CityEV technical at any time.
