New collaborations in London & Hampshire
Our goal is to make the switch to electric easier and more accessible for as many people as possible. And we’re not doing it alone. Forming new partnerships with like-minded individuals and governing bodies is enabling us to bring EV charge points to an ever-growing list of urban areas across the country.
One such partnership is the new collaboration between CityEV, JoJu Charging and leading infrastructure services company FM Conway. Together, we are happy to introduce a new EV charging solution called SureCharge.
SureCharge in London and Joju partnership in Hampshire
The residents (and visitors) of London and Hampshire now have access to hundreds of easy-to-use, fast-charging EV units.
SureCharge points utilise the existing power sources in lamp posts to transform street lighting into EV chargers. As they require no additional columns or roadworks for installation, they cause minimal disruption to the local areas. Instead, they are simply giving existing infrastructure an electric upgrade.
SureCharge units have already landed in Eastleigh, Winchester, Reading City Council and Greater London, including the London Borough of Hounslow, Royal Borough of Kingston and London Borough of Merton. And more are in the pipeline.
As so many people in these areas relying on on-street parking, the arrival of these conveniently-located charge points will hopefully help to make the switch to electric vehicles a realistic, straightforward choice.
To locate and use these new units with ease, download the EVopencard app – free on iPhone and Android!
